No Pastry Quiche 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/2 oz flour
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 medium eggs
  • pepper to taste
  • 150 ml single cream
  • 200 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 4 1/2oz bacon
  • 2 1/2 oz grated cheese (gruyere, cheddar, ..)
Temperature: 400 ° F

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix together 70g (2 1/2 oz) of plain flour, 1 pinch of salt, pepper to taste and 2 medium sized eggs. Then pour in 150ml of single cream and 200ml of whole or semi-skimmed milk. Fry 120g (4 1/2 oz) of bacon cut into small pieces. 

  2. For the mixture into the appetizer dishes and sprinkle 70g (2 1/2 oz) of grated cheese (gruyere, cheddar...) over the top. Cook for 15 mins at 200°C / 400°F (Gas mark 7). 

  3. You can replace the bacon with small shrimps or chopped sausage.
